Eileen Champion Poole.

We hope that you will enjoy having a look around our webpage and learning more about the life and work of Eileen Champion Poole.

A pioneering but sadly now largely forgotten antiquarian, amateur archaeologist, etymologist, ethnographer, local historian, novelist, watercolourist and photographer, Eileen Champion Poole grew up in Kilbogget House in Cabinteely and opened her first museum of local and natural history at the age of 10.

If you have any questions or you are interested in touring the exhibition of E.C.P.’s personal collection to your venue, then please contact us by sending an email to eileenchampionpoole [at] gmail [dot]
com and we will respond to your query as soon as possible.

Thank you and please come to visit again soon!!!
